The PHAALS Foundation will be matching the next $25,000 donated to the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) between now and midnight in honor of #GivingTuesday.
Our board at the PHAALS Foundation has been so inspired by the ALS community who keep pushing through everything 2020 has thrown at them and raising funds for ALS research. Because of this, we have decided to add an additional match this #GivingTuesday to encourage the supporters of ALS TDI to donate to research today.
Our Board of Directors, volunteers, and families have spent eight years supporting ALS TDI through our research grants and matching donations during critical fundraising times. These grants provide much-needed funding for the work being done at ALS TDI. I know that ALS TDI urgently invests all of the funds they receive because, for people with ALS, there is no time to waste.
Please make a donation by midnight to enact our match. It is ALS TDI’s goal, and therefore MY goal, to raise $100,000 in one day through #GivingTuesday. We hit this goal last year, and I believe we can do it again now!
